Jeans and Tee’s

My absolute favourite outfit to throw on has got to be jeans and a t-shirt, and with all the great slogan/rock tee’s out there just now you are spoilt for choice. I picked this Guns’n’Roses top up from   they have such a great selection of t-shirt’s at the moment. My ripped jeans are new season also from H&M and they are a looser cut (see below) to what I normally wear (I live in skinny jeans) but I quite like them for a more casual look. This is a great outfit for day or night, just add a pair of heels and a sparkly necklace to dress it up.

If you want to dress it up for daytime just add a simple black blazer and some stylish boots and your good to go. I’ve done a little research to find you some great Tee’s, ripped jeans and blazers which are great staple pieces for your wardrobe.

All the above T-Shirts are available from and range from £4.99- £12.99

All the above jeans are available from and range from £19.99-£24.99

The above jackets are available from and are both £24.99

The Floral Dress

I do love a floral dress, the prettier more feminine the better for me and there are some really pretty ones out there at the moment. Once upon a time you would have only worn a floral dress in the spring/summertime, however there are a few ways to add it into your winter wardrobe. Pop a jumper over the top of your dress so you still get that pretty skirt look and team with a leather jacket or wool coat (like my photo above) add a warm scarf and gloves and not only do you look ‘pretty cool’ your warm and you will probably brighten up somebody’s day as its very easy to get stuck in the rut of wearing black all winter (I know I’m guilty of this) I love BLACK! Another great idea if the dress is sleeveless try popping a polo neck underneath the dress, and if this is a bit too bulky for you, you could try the  luxury sleeves which they do in both jersey and lace, although I’ve never tried them personally they do look very nice.

I have included a few of my favourite dresses below:

Rose flute sleeve dress £36.00 available through

Victoriana neck Dress 35.00 available at

Nobodys child dress £28.00 available through

Daisy spot tea dress £35.00 available through

Floral midi dress £39.99 from

My shimmy sleeves also available in black.

Harls and Ted

If your a Mother and love a slogan sweatshirt you need to check out  Founded by the lovely Lisa, mum to Harlie and Teddy who inspired her to start the business. This is a clothing brand that isn’t afraid to play with your fashion. Playful sweats that are super cosy and great to throw on with jeans and boots for an effortless mum on the run look. There is a great combo of chic and comfy designs and you wont be disappointed in the quality. The sweatshirt I’m wearing ‘bed’ just sums me up in one word, I do love my bed. There is a great choice of colours, size and quotes to choose from and they all come gift wrapped as standard. Also when you purchase one of Lisa’s sweatshirts 10% from your first sale is split and donated to Save the Children and the NSPCC , both of which are close to Lisa’s heart. They are both amazing charities that help children in need and you are not only supporting a small business you are also giving something back too! So if your a mum like me and want to look trendy but comfortable these sweats are for you! Activewear ‘My favourite comfy’

Yes I wear Activewear even when I’m not going to the gym, and with all the high street stores offering the perfect fusion between fashion and training your going to look good and comfy at the same time. There is so much choice out there for leggings or ‘tights’ with mesh inserts and colour blocking. H&M have a great sportswear selection and I picked these ones up for £17.99 these are the grey/black/white ones and they are also available in plain black, neon pink, dark blue and grey marl. Scented Nail Polish by Guerlain

img_1921I need to let you in on a little secret.. I have an obsession with nail polish and own an obscene amount in my dining room drawer which is full of every colour you can think of. I am a nail polish addict and I can often be guilty of changing my nail polish 3 times a week! I just love all the different colours and I like my nails to coordinate with outfits (I have been like this from about 10 years old)

I went shopping on Friday and came away with a little treat for myself (as you do) I had a lovely day with my mum browsing the sales and chatting over coffee and cake. We were in House of Fraser having a look around the beauty department and this red nail polish caught my eye, I’m always on the look out for new lovely red shades its my favourite colour nail polish.

The nail polish is by Guerlain and they have created a fragranced nail polish La Petite Robe Noire Nail Colour in a deliciously shiny texture. A real La Petite Robe Noire miniature perfume bottle with its lid in the shape of the famous upside-down heart and flat brush allows optimal, easy and precise colour application. As you will see from my Instagram photo I’m wearing the colour ‘Red Heels’ I used a base coat then 2 coats of the nail polish. It was so shiny I didn’t need to use a top coat and the smell is amazing (I’m constantly walking around smelling my nails) Just wearing the nail polish has also made me want to go and purchase the perfume as it smells amazing.

When I purchased the nail polish I received a miniature ‘Kiss Kiss’ lipstick in shade Rouge Kiss which looks exactly the same colour as the polish (bonus) The lipstick is very light in texture and has a lovely sheen to it which I personally prefer to a matt look.

I purchased this nail polish from at the counter.

Other favourite reds of mine include:

Nails Inc Regents Park Place Gel effect Nail Polish

O.P.I Red My Fortune Cookie Nail Polish
