One of my favourite looks just now, is a bright jumper paired with a leather or pleather skirt and ankle boots.

This pink cashmere jumper from Marks and Spencer has now sold out online, however you may still pick one up in store.

My pleather skirt was a purchase from last year from TKMaxx, and the boots are River Island. (Same style as my pink ones)

Although I don’t own many metallic accessories, I think they give any outfit a pop of life, and I think silver shoes with jeans and a cosy knit look so chic.

I added silver trainers and a silver bag to my ‘mum uniform’ today to liven it up a bit. You don’t have to be on a night out to get the metallics out, it’s totally acceptable to add a bit of sparkle to your daytime outfits.

The little silver chain bag was a market stall find in Spain, sometimes you just come across little finds like this, and you know your not going to see it everywhere.

I’ve been on the hunt for a camel coat/jacket for a while now, and when I saw this one in River Island with the faux fur collar, I just had to have it!

It’s that lovely pale camel shade and sits just below the knee. The fit is perfect and true to size. It’s £90 and I’ve linked it below:

A camel coat is a classic. Its an iconic style choice, and a must have wardrobe essential. It looks great dressed up with a dress and boots or casually dressed down with a Breton, jeans and trainers.

One of my favourite style of tops is the fitted polo-neck/turtleneck/roll-neck or funnel neck, whatever you like to call them.

It’s a wardrobe essential in my eyes, and something I always reach for come autumn/winter. I suppose you could wear any colour, but black is my favourite and will go with anything.

They give an instant classy look to your outfit, and they look great worn solo or layered under a dress or blazer.

The fitted polo-neck also looks great with high waisted jeans or a midi skirt. I’ve styled mine with a faux leather skirt, tights and boots, which is an effortless look that can take you from day to night.
