Pretty Tops

I was in London at a couple of events last Thursday, and the hubby was taking me to The Ivy for dinner, so I was on the hunt for a really nice top to wear with my smart black trousers. I do struggle sometimes to find nice tops to wear for a night out, so thought I would do a little search to see if there was any tops that just had that wow factor.

Would you believe the first top I tried on.. I bought! It is this gorgeous green flower and leaf print pyjama style blouse. The piping and red buttons caught my eye, and thought with plain black trousers and black heels, this is going to look amazing. Its such a vibrant print blouse that you really don’t need any accessories, it speaks for itself.

Apart from the little Gucci bag, that did just set the outfit off perfectly 😉

This is the gorgeous Topshop top I wore to one of the events, and I got asked where it was from so many times. I think its the colour of the print, its so vibrant and the frills are really pretty. The top is cropped, but not too short. I wore it with high waist jeans and a belt. I do love all the prints that are out at the minute, and I think we are getting better at wearing them too. Embrace the print and wear with confidence.
